Yes, I own DVD’s that is played in PS2. Ps2 played DVD’s and CD’s that would play the game easily. The thing about DVD is that it contains more space provided for the game or the film so that it would make the graphics or the story of the game or the film much more longer.

What are the main uses for this technology?

To make the quality of what people see on screens better. They also use the DVD’s for computer games and for burning CD’s.

Do you feel this technology will still be used in 10 years from now or replaced with something better?

I think that it will be replaced by some thing new that came out and that was just mounted on the new PS3 and I think they will mount it also on computers.

Question #1 – How is technology used in education? (overall)
Question #2 – How do you personally use technology in aiding your learning at NJIS (during school, homework, etc)?
Question #3 – Does technology improve your education or create more complexity (therefore becoming a negative aspect)?
Answer
Question#1:Technology is used on education like internet for researching and computers for neater writings and faster writing. Almost all people have comp[uters today and they sometimes cost a lot. Technology(computers) are also used on libraries to research books and to search for books. Computers are really complicated and some people study about it. And not only computers can relate technology to education, there were things and stuffs like calculators, reminders, printers, fotocopy machine are used oftenly at schools. If there is nothing like those, I think life would be harder.
Question#2:I usually used calculators and computers to do some of my english homeworks. It works really well and its really neat, faster better than you write with a pencil on a paper. You just print it and see the result as done. Also some fancy stuff like underlining and making the words bold are also technology that we oftenly used, the microsoft word provide those stuff. Powerpoints are a program that is really helpful to people that want to make a presentation. Its all teached at NJIS.
Question#3:Well…its sometimes making me confused and sometimes making me get on my nerves!Like when a virus is on my computer and deleting my school stuff. But its improving my education at school and helped me. Its also helping me to not misstyped words or missspelled words.
